PREPARATION

You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Carousel.

In the musical, in the second act, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the female protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, is killed during a failed robbery. It is reprised in the final scene to encourage a graduation class of which Louise (Billy and Julie's daughter) is a member. Billy watches this ceremony during his return to earth.

Because the song is included in the musical's school-graduation finale, it has become a standard at graduation ceremonies in the United States.

The song is also sung at football clubs around the world, where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters on matchday; this tradition began at Liverpool Football Club in the early 1960s and later spread to several other clubs.

New Castle is a great moutrical city. There are lots of things to do in it. Is the biggest sculpture in Britain and is one of the famous works of art in world. She tells us about the city and its most famous work of art - The Angel of the North - created by Antony Gormley. Creat it was a very important and expensive project.

This week we had two important exams: Science and Maths. The rest of the week was normal.

2n week
It started with a lot of work and in Wednseday we had an exam of history. In Monday started snowing when we were in the School, and this was fantastic because we left school!!!

This week all of the class are nervous because in Sunday we are going to go to ITALY!

4th week
Thiss week we were in ITALY! We had a great time in here. It was a fantastic trip that we nerver forget. This week was incredible!

In monday to Tuesday I went to Barcelona with my class. We visited: La Sagrada Família, el

This week was a normal week .

2st week: This week I had a lot of homework. I'm very stressed because next week I started the final exams of the term.

3rd week: This week I'm very nervious because I start de final exams. I'm doing the biology and maths exam.

4th week: This week is the same at other.

A DIARY ENTRY

My classmates was in a shop and he stole a cd. I'm afraid and I don't know what will happen to his but I also lied to protect him. I lied because I don't care that the people say to my friend that he is a theft and I want to protect him. My friend was wrong because he shouldn't steal the CD. Neither should I have been lying to the police. It's a really difficult situation because there are the police. I think that with this age is there'are many cases of theft, and perhaps my friend will steal again but going in account. If I were in this situation again I will tell the truth to the police and no problems, and probably my friend understand me.

A LETTER: EXPLAINING A PROBLEM

It was a bad day. I was with my friends and suddenly the mobile phone rang. It was my parents, who wanted me to go home. It was just 9.30. I was very angry because that night we decided to go to the cinema to watch a funny film.
I think that my father should have thought more in my situation. It was really easy, just watch the film and go home. Maybe the next day I should have had to clean the house or to cut the grass. The other solution could be that I didn't pick the phone up but then they would have been really angry with me, and I didn't want this.
I need advice because I don't want to go through this again. I have two solutions: listen to my parents or to do what I believe it's better for me. But if i choose the last one, I'll be in a great trouble.

Books and Internet

Our world changed when the Internet was invented. It's a really good innovation because it’s in all of the places of the world and it’s a very good tool to search information, to play games, connect people, etc.
Before the Internet was invented, searching information in the books used to be more slowly. Theses days, however, this problem doesn’t exist because the Internet is really faster than books. Books, on the other hand, are always here. With this I mean that the Internet usually crashes. Books don't need a network, so they don't crash. They are also easy to carry.
The Internet has advantages too. It has a lot of good applications, for example:
searching information, playing games, communicating with other people by msn or facebook, creating your own page, etc.
All in all, in my opinion, I think that the Internet is a better invention than the books because it has got a lot of applications that the books haven't got, and it is much better.

25th of February

This week is the first exam week of this term. Fortunately it's an easy one because we've only 2 exams. One of Catalan and one of English. The most difficult of both are the English.

How To Make A Pina Colada Cocktail

Step 1: You will need
50 ml rum 50 ml coconut rum 50 ml coconut cream 3 pineapple chunks 2 scoops of crushed ice 1 25ml/50ml measure 1 chopping board 1 blender 1 highball glass short straws

1. Step 2: Prepare your cocktail

   Into the jug of the blender add the light rum, coconut rum, coconut cream and crushed ice. Put the blender onto a low speed and blend for about 20 seconds. When blended, pour the drink into the highball glass.
